Twin size baby quilt for my grandson

I originally wanted this Morning Star quilt to be a crib quilt for my grandson. However, I decided to make it larger to be useful from birth to his teenage years and all the possible play in-between – including wrapping up Mummy! So, throughout a couple of design sessions, I settled on a series of colours which were all different and bright!

The colour orange was chosen for the “morning stars” and “flying geese” borders to enhance the other coloured fabrics in the quilt. Highlighted fabrics include the “ant fabric, the swallow fabric, and the bear’s paw fabric” – to name a few! The quilting was done by Rainbow Quilts.
